Source of Madness
Source of Madness is a lovecraftian action platformer with rogue-lite elements. Venture through an ever-changing dynamic world and use your spells to overcome the twisted beings from the void. Fight new procedural monsters each play-through, brought to life by a powerful machine learning AI.
As an acolyte from the Cult of Knowledge you fight in and explore dungeon-like procedural worlds, scattered across moons and planets of our solar system. Humanity is a weak forgettable spot on the galactical playing field among the demon sultans. The mission is given to you by the elder cult leader in yellow: find the box of Pandora and close it, to limit the influence of the outer beings.
We're still working hard to turn Source of Madness into a full game, but already now we have released an early alpha version that you can try. The full game will have a more polished graphical look powered by texture generation AI, as seen in the gameplay trailer below.

We are Carry Castle, a small 2-man indie game studio from the west coast of Sweden, based in the city of Gothenburg. Making games is what makes us feel alive and happy. We love joining game jams and be creative with others. We love to use the latest and greatest technology to innovate with something new for the industry.How We Started
We both hosted a LAN event at our College in southern Sweden, the LAN in question was WonderLAN. We ended up in the same student organization Mammas Källare (Mom's Basement), a joke on the nerdy activities our group did such as hosting LANs and roleplaying events.
Two years later we would be reconnected through a joint skype channel from our College time. At that time Per lived in Finland, and looking for someone to go on indie game adventures with, he chatted with Robin. Soon after, Per took a leap of faith back to Sweden, and the road of Carry Castle started to take shape.
In June 2016 we founded Carry Castle. We started with some smaller projects in the weekends while having other full-time jobs. It was a tough time but it became very clear that we really wanted to go for this, so by the beginning of 2017 we went all-in, quit our jobs, and started making games full-time.
